Today, I am pleased to share that I finally sold one of my favorite paintings, "In Remembrance of Him." It is one that I made when I was in senior college (at least 18 yrs ago). I really liked it, because it was one of those paintings I felt inspired to do. It depicts a church scene with people praising God. There's a guy on the keyboard; one on the drums and there are preachers in the pulpit. The choir members are robed in white, with a red glow around each member's head. The foreground has the "lay members" dancing and shouting for joy.
This painting was based on my own Christian experience in the Pentecostal church (COGIC) that I grew up in. The lady who purchased it shares the same background, so I feel that she will appreciate the painting as much as I did.
Hopefully, in the future, I will make more paintings based on my personal life experience.
Well, as with any artist, I am pleased to say the word, SOLD!
