I turned in my artwork today for the Mobile Street Renaissance Festival Art Show, which will be located at the corner of 6th St./Mobile St., in Hattiesburg, MS. I will be showing four works of art and selling a few prints.
After I turned in my art, I was privileged to meet the son of an Hattiesburg artist, Al Branch. He gave me a nice print of one of his father's 1975 drawings, titled "The Saturday Night Bath," and a brief history of the Mobile St. area. I plan to take good care of the drawing! (in fact, I remember those Saturday night baths...)
